ST CHRISTOPHER'S CARE APP

For this project I researched and produced all copy for an app designed to educate people on the history of end-of-life care and the modern hospice movement, as well as the work of St Christopher's Hospice today.

I worked with teams from across the organisation to establish what the most important messages to get across were, and did extensive research and background checking to ensure all historic information was factual and correct. 

I was asked to produce copy for both the children's and adult's hospices, tailoring content in line with user needs.

I worked closely with the communications team to really understand the purpose of both websites, before producing copy accordingly. This covered areas such as care and support as well as guidance on accessing services in the community. The writing, therefore, needed to be empathetic and reassuring as well as clear and informative. 

I wrote many articles for Newsquest, which were published in a number of newspapers including the Surrey Comet, Richmond & Twickenham Times and Wandsworth Guardian. Lots of these required me to conduct interviews and vox-pops, as well as contact key stakeholders for information and quotes.
